Amazon S3 Outage

As you’ve almost certainly heard by now, Amazon Web Services reported high error rates with its simple storage service (S3) in its US-East-1 region on Tuesday Feb. 28, 2017. Translation: Internet Outage. USA Today reported this outage affected millions of companies across the United States – of every size imaginable.

Companies that were hit especially hard were those that weren’t necessarily prepared to see the outage of a single facility take down their infrastructure. At TeleSites.net you can trust that we understand the difficulties associated with putting mission-critical workloads in a public cloud. That's why we recommend using our Private Cloud / or (for larger projects) allowing us to setup and maintain your own Cloud Server in our facility in Austin Texas.

Our facility is in an underground bunker with backup generators and multiple redundant Internet Service Providers.
